I’m Baaaack! Emmett Won POV and… stuff.

So, I’m alive and lotsa’ shit went down when I was sick. From pedicures and flip-outs (and make-outs – spin the bottle, anyone?), to double evictions and blindsides. Both Tom and Liza are gone – partying it up in TO with Kat and Aneal, and I’m sure, getting tanned. Both I liked, and I’ll admit the house is more boring without them. Sadly, it all came down to playing too hard, too fast. Tom did tend to play emotionally, stuck on Sue since she nominated him night one, and Liza… She talked too much to too many people. It was inevitable that stories would be compared, and she would suffer for it.

Now, for this week – We all saw Alec give HOH to Andrew in the double eviction HOH, and it turned out to be a smart move for him. Not only did he win HOH the next day, but he also got 10K and a video message from his mom in the deal. Andrew however got royally fucked. No letter, no pictures, no perks whatsoever. Really, BBC?? He did the work, but got nothing for it. Not. Cool.

Now Alec went from being a Have-Not for three weeks (poor boy) to the penthouse suite and holding the power. It`s nice to see him not starve.  He nominated Suzette and the reliable pawn AJ. On the block together yet again, Suzette knew her days were numbered if she didn’t win POV.

Alas, Emmett was playing against her, so she had no chance. Winning yet another competition, Emmett won Veto and decided to not use it. No surprise there. He had planned to go off on Suzette during the ceremony, so we’ll have to see if he did or not on the episode Wednesday. I hope he did. I need a good laugh.

AJ & Suzette on the Block… For Now.

So, AJ and Suzette are on the Block, and Canada has Veto power. Having to choose one to save (since we weren’t given the ‘Save Nobody’ option) it seems like Canada’s dislike of Tom is heavily influencing the vote.

I personally can’t stand Suzette’s overly excited voice in my headphones and didn’t vote to remove her from the Block. Tom’s reaction to her safety seems to be what Canada is aiming for so it’s looking likely that she’ll be saved by Canada – giving her the impression she’s loved by the country, when all they really want is to see Tom’s head explode.

The funny thing is if Tom hadn’t removed Gary from the Block, Canada would be voting in DROVES to save him, and Suzette would be going home tonight. But, no, he started to play emotionally and is instead most likely going to have to name somebody to replace his nemesis in the house. Sadly, it’s looking likely that he will nominate my personal favorite – Andrew.

Andrew is the oldest houseguest (38), slightly on the fringe of all the alliances and well-liked by almost everyone. In the early days of the feeds, he was considered the funniest person in the house, and hasn’t disappointed. His self-deprecating Newfie humor and baby-blues have won (at least, me) over, and I’m hoping if he does get named as the replacement nominee those will weigh in his favor for the rest of the house.

Who knows really what is going to go down in the house tomorrow, and sadly we won’t get to see the aftermath due to the not-live-ness. By the time the feeds come back on after the show the houseguests will have had time to cool off and recover from their shock. I am hoping that After Dark will catch some good moments we won’t be able to witness, but I’m not holding my breath.

Tom Won HOH & Veto – Suzette & Gary Nominated… For Now

When Tom won Head of Household on Thursday night, he made his intentions clear. Put Gary and Suzette on the Block, make a deal with Suzette and send Gary out the door. Oh, how things can change in a Big Brother house.

Shit went down off camera; Suzette had an ‘outburst’ and apparently threatened Tom, insinuated abuse, among many other things. Beginning with Danielle’s shocking (to Sue) eviction, Tom winning HOH her general feelings overflowed in a not so nice way.

Cue Toms complete One-Eighty. Last night, before nominations Gary and Tom had a conversation in the HOH. They cleared the air between them; however Tom did inform Gary that he was putting him on the Block. He wanted to give Gary the chance to take himself off by winning POV, but also said that he would take him off the block himself if he won.

Well, Tom did win Veto today, and talk seems to indicate he will use the POV on Gary. In fact, yet another brainless person (in this case, AJ) offered himself up as a pawn. Because we all know how well that works out.

So, it looks like Gary Glitter is safe for another week, Suzette is the most likely to meet Arisa and AJ wants to be on the show enough to offer to go on the block. How fun.

Aneal & Danielle On the Block

After winning the Power of Veto, Gary, unsurprisingly, chose to take himself off the block, leaving Jillian in the position of naming a replacement nominee. After debating who to nominate in the first place, and deciding against nominating Danielle (after a heart to heart) she now had the chance for a do-over.

Danielle, having made her loathing for Jillian clear (in DR & out) actually thought she and Jillian were on geed enough terms the she volunteered to play the pawn, In doing that, she made it even more clear she has never ever bothered to watch Big Brother. Later asking about volunteering “Is that bad?”. Really.

So, no surprise Jillian took Danielle up on her offer of playing the pawn, however we all know in Big Brother the pawn is never safe. In fact, it’s usually going to be backdoored. So, Danielle, realizing that she majorly fucked her game started to gather votes. She’s sure she will be safe and Aneal will go home, however the tide has already turned against her.

It’ll be fun to see her face tomorrow as she’s walking up the stairs. It’ll be classic.

Gary Wins Veto

Tonight there was the glittery, shiny, furry (faux, I’m sure) frosty and white themed Veto Competition – complete with matching costumes. Short dresses, tutus, ‘diamond’ headgear and cropped feathery white “jackets” for the girls; Danielle, Jill and Liza… Or white fur and/or tight & glittery (silver) for the boys; Aneal, AJ and Gary (who was ecstatic at that alone, I’m sure).

Not really sure what exactly they did, but Gary came out on top (for once) and succeed in saving his ass in the game. With him removing himself from the Block Jillian will soon be forced to name a replacement nominee.

I’ve heard a few names floating around, like Suzette or AJ, who Aneal thinks are the only people he could possibly survive eviction sitting next to. So far I don’t think Jillian knows who she is going to nominate, either. The game moves, plotting, chatting and HOH Ass-Kissing before the Veto Ceremony (whenever it may be) will be fun to see. We can see if the revolving HOH door is as lively in Canada as it in in the States. ::wink::

Eviction LIVE Tonight! Emmett & Kat Nominated

After winning Veto, Tom took himself off the Block. Suzette, the HOH, named Kat as the replacement nominee. She’s fucking pissed (Obviously!) as the Popular/Buff/Girl Magnet Emmett has the majority of the house on his side.

Once again, the Cool Chick is the first to leave a Big Brother House. But if she has her way, she could cause chaos in the game – as any good first-evicted would want.

Super-tight with Anul, there may be a secret identity story about to be planted in the house. The plan calls for Anul to claim post eviction Kat used to babysit him, their family somehow being friends who fell out of touch many years ago. Complete bullshit, of course, but Kat wants to make waves. There may or may not be a hurriedly whispered conversation before departure to someone of her choosing.

For Anul, this could either be very idiotic or very smart. I’m betting it’s the former. Getting yourself embroiled in a scheme like this in the first week, with someone who was evicted… That just spells stupid.

Who knows what is going to go down after the eviction tonight, but I can’t wait to see the first live Head of Household Competition.

…What about you?
